Lime Essential Oil

Image
I love Lime Essential Oil. It is nice to add to so many different diffuser blends. It's uplifting for me. It is a nice one to diffuse mid afternoon when the slump usually happens. Lime is also known as a tonic and a purifier. I love that it prevents ageing symptoms and can be used for everything from tired muscles to fighting viral infections. This is definitely anoth er oil to add to your medicine cabinet as it has so many uses. You can read what doTERRA says about Lime oil here . You can buy the oil  here . HOW TO PUT YOUR BUSINESS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND MAKING YOUR OWN WEBSITE.

Image
When I decided to put my business online I had never done anything like that before. I Googled everything I wanted to do and read reviews on each service before I went ahead and used them. I am far from an expert on anything I am about to write here, but I have managed to set up and successfully run my own business Website, Facebook page, Facebook Group for our team only, Pinterest, write almost daily blogs and found a site that helps me send out bulk emails at least monthly. I hope that by listing everything here I can save you a bit of time and you won't feel as lost as I was. Facebook I linked my business Facebook page to my personal page. It just makes things easier and there is no signing into one and out of another and vice versa. It's simply one click to go from one to the other. They are separate pages so there is no need to be nervous about linking it to your personal page. It is fairly straight forward to set this up but PCWorld has a tutorial you can follow he...

MY ALLERGIES AND HOW TO HAVE A CHEMICAL-FREE HOME - Free downloadable Food & Lifestyle Journal.

Image
Before I had my kids I never really thought about allergies or toxins. As long as I stayed away from Bactrim antibiotics, due to my reaction to sulfa, I didn't have to worry about them. That was until I started working again after my boys were all in school. Over the course of a few years, I developed more and more allergies and intolerances to so many things. All of a sudden I couldn't touch my cats and dogs without breaking out in hives, sneezing and having itchy eyes. I also noticed when I was working in my garden that certain plants would make me sneeze and itch. I became overloaded with toxic build up and my immune system suffered. I was struggling with so many different allergies. I had to keep a food journal because things that I had eaten all my life started making my stomach bloat and I felt nauseous after almost every meal. I came to realise that I could no longer eat gluten or dairy. I discovered that dairy was causing stomach upsets and contributed to the h...

BE KIND TO YOURSELF

Image
Money can't buy happiness but it can buy you doTERRA essential oils and they will certainly help.  Most of us have busy lives and don't take enough time to do little things to be kind to ourselves. We work, clean, run around after kids and find it hard to make time just for us. When you have essential oils you can take just two minutes to do something positive for yourself. This is a list of things that I like to do for myself. Some I do every day.  Put a drop of lemon oil in your glass of water. It uplifts you and is good for your health. Put the diffuser on. You can put in oils to energise you, motivate you, calm you or just make you feel happy. Roll one of our beautiful blends like Peace on your wrists. It's so calming. If you are feeling tired put a drop of peppermint oil in your hand, rub your hands together, cup your hands over your nose and mouth and breathe it in. Smells good and wakes you up. Put a drop or two of your favourite oil into a foot sp...

HOW DO YOU USE YOUR ESSENTIAL OILS?

Image
How do you use your oils? There are many ways to use essential oils. These are four ways that I like to use mine. Diffuser - You can add a few drops of one or more oils to water and diffuse in your home. This is a great way to kill germs, uplift moods, make your home or office smell nice and help you sleep at night, depending on the oils that you diffuse. Check my website for some nice blends to try in your diffuser.  http://karensplaceofessentialoils.com/howtouseessentialoils… doTERRA's Hand & Body Lotion - Perfect for adding a drop or two of oils to apply to your skin. The lotion is unscented and toxin free. I love this lotion. Veggie Caps - Add oils to capsules to take internally. Check my website for an Immunity Bomb mix to add to the caps.  http://karensplaceofessentialoils.com/howtouseessentialoils… Fractionated Coconut Oil - It is a good idea to dilute oils before applying them to your skin. FCO is perfect for this. It has a long shelf l...

I have Meniere's Disease

Image
I have a disease! I don't think I have ever said that before. It is not something I like to admit to myself. I have Meniere's Disease. An invisible disease that is very debilitating and life-changing. Not only for me but for my family as well. I have tossed around the idea of writing this blog for awhile. I really don't know why I have decided to. Maybe I can help somebody else, maybe somebody can help me, maybe both. Who knows, but I'm feeling an urge to write it. I once read where a Doctor said Meniere's Disease is the worst disease that won't kill you. There have been many times when I thought it was killing me though. So many times when I am lying on my side with a bucket wedged under my face to catch the vomit because I can't move a muscle (especially my head) without feeling like I am doing backflips. I have no idea if I am falling off the bed or even where the edge of the bed (or car seat or wherever I have had the attack) is because ...
