Passion - Inspiring Blend


Passion, the Inspiring Blend, is such a beautiful blend with a rich, spicy smell. When I first received my Emotions Kit I didn't take to Passion like I did the others. I remember thinking to myself "I don't need passion". It sat in my oil box for a few months and I just didn't ever think to use it.  That was until I bought my Emotions & Essential Oils book and started reading up on what it can do for me. As soon as I read that it can help me face my fears and that it teaches that there is more to living than working and obligation, I picked up my roller bottle and applied it straight away. I've been hooked ever since.

Passion is perfect for those times when life becomes predictable and even boring. When you feel like all you do is wake up, go to work, come home, go to bed and repeat. It brings a little spark back into your life and helps you to feel more alive and creative. Passion can help you find your passion. I love it so much.

I roll it on my wrists when I feel I have lost my mojo or when I want to do something new and scary. It also helps me to see the blessings I already have in my life. I sometimes just roll it on my palm, rub my hands together, cup them over my mouth and nose and just breath it in. It smells so good you can use it as a perfume. It's beautiful to diffuse as well.

It can be rolled on your lower abdomen and inside of your ankles to help with period or menopause issues.

doTERRA Purify Oil. Where do I start? This one bottle of oil can do so much. Surely I'm not the only person who has put a load of washing on and forgotten about it until hours later, or the next morning even. I would wash the clothes again but they still had a stale smell when we wore them. Now I just put 1 or 2 drops of Purify on a cloth and throw it in the wash. Natural Cat Scratch Deterrent

Time and time again my essential oils amaze me. But using them to deter the cats from clawing our suede lounge takes the cake. W e have to chase them away from the lounge every day. We hear that dreaded clawing sound and run to chase them before they do permanent damage. I came across a recipe last week and tried it. It did make the cats stop and sniff around, but they still ended up clawing the lounge. I tried a new blend each day until I finally found this one that has stopped them clawing altogether. I put approximately 1 cup of water,  10 drops of doTERRA Eucalyptus Oil and 10 drops of doTERRA Lemon Oil in a spray bottle, shook it up and sprayed it on the corners of the lounge where the cats claw every day. The first day they came up and sniffed around, but then walked away. I haven't seen them near the lounge at all since then. WHERE TO GET YOUR doTERRA RESOURCES

So you have your oils, now you need to get some tools and resources together. In this blog, I will tell you where I purchase all of my sample bottles, reference books, sachets, stickers, which phone apps I use and other tools I have found to be useful. Obviously, you don't need everything that I talk about on this blog, but if you do want them, you will know where to get them from. The very first thing anyone who uses essential oils should purchase, in my opinion, is a reference book. If you are on my team I have more than likely sent you one in your Welcome Pack.  I recommend either The Essential Life Book or Modern Essentials. You don't need both, as they are both excellent books, but are very similar. I am a visual person and The Essential Life book is just so much prettier to me.
